The fabric I was so excited about did not arrive the same color as the photo showed. The light blue is turquoise, and the pretty olivey green is lime. Fabric.com apparently has an awesome return policy with free return shipping, so I plan to send it back. The kitchen fabric is nice. It's not as white as I had hoped, but it will do. The fabric feels thick and workable. It's definitely a quality product. Lesson learned: I will order swatches in the future. This means I'll have to put off recovering the chair for a few more weeks. I was hoping to have these projects done by Nick's White Coat Ceremony. It also means I'll have to pick a new pattern. I just don't think I can make turquoise and lime green work in my bedroom.
Now I'm off to get ready for another post-exam celebration. Nick's study group is getting together for fun and drinks following his lab practical today.
In other news, two of my three textbooks arrived today. And I finished another cap for Brynlee. Now I want to start on a scarf for myself! I have a lot to keep me busy. I don't think I have class until Thursday this week.
I saw this and thought of you. Hope you enjoy. :)
